Noise Control Designs by Spectrum at Renca CCGT Power Station,
Santiago, Chile
One of a number of elements of noise control designed for this new CCGT/Co-gen
power station located in the suburbs of Santiago, Chile.
This shows
the manufacturing drawings of acoustic splitters, acoustically and aerodynamically
designed by Spectrum, which were located
within the exhaust stack of the
station. It was designed to reduce upstream noise levels by 10 dB(A)
whilst not increasing flow noise or
back-pressure excessively.
