Sport & Leisure Centre Acoustics
Sport and leisure facilities help sustain health and wellbeing. However noise generated in these facilities can often have an impact on the surrounding community.
Spectrum carry out noise studies to support planning applications. This includes computer modelling of the propagation of noise for outside facilities such as sports pitches and reverberation control in swimming pool spaces, fitness centres and gyms.
Acoustic treatment introduced into sports and leisure spaces needs to be tough and durable to sustain impacts during use.
